e.l.f. Shimmer Eye Dust
When I first received my e.l.f. shimmer eye dust - ice skate, I was really taken back by the cute and dainty packaging. The design on the packaging shows off pink and purple hearts, perfect for a little princess. I immediately felt like a little princess and wanted to dig right into this new eyeshadow.
The packaging reads: Have a ball with these shimmer eye shadows that dare to dazzle! Instructions: Roll the ball over your eyelids for glittery eyes!
Right away you can get a sense of just how shimmery this eyeshadow will be.
Oh Yes Must Have: I first tested it on my arm just to see what texture this e.l.f. eyeshadow would be. I needed to know if it would have too much glitter effect in it to make me look like a clown.
But it was the opposite!
It was very a fine powder with a very soft shimmer. This eyeshadow set is incredibly pigmented and you really don't need to put to much on.
Just a little dab of the roller ball on your lid is sufficient of an application. It has a fantastic roller ball that should come in handy for anyone just starting out using make up or for someone who may not yet have all the fancy eye brushes required to apply and blend.
The two color combination is perfectly matched. The pink really compliments the silver and together they make blending on your eyelid so easy!
The containers are both full to the top really making it an unbelievable purchase for the price.
No No: It took some getting used to using the roller ball and I found it to be wasteful at times.
I have now removed the roller ball, by simply popping it off very gently as to not waste any shimmer dust and I use a very small rounded tip eye brush to dip into the cylinder container.
This helped me tremendously.
Overall it was an outstanding highly pigmented eyeshadow that this beauty savvy diva would immensely recommend to anyone wanting a set of two fabulous eye dust for an incredibly low price.
Best of all this shimmery duo can easily be found on the Internet, anywhere from 1.00$ -7.00$.
