Tweezing those brows!

They draw so much attention to our eyes and really make them sparkle without being over-bearing.


Yes I'm talking about those caterpillars on your forehead and if you tweeze those brows following the science of symmetrical geometry, they will frame your face with beauty and grace.

Now don't get to worried about the science of symmetrical geometry since it's quite simple. ;)

What's important in having great looking eyebrows is two that are shaped the same. The best place to start is with eyebrows that haven't been tweezed. If you did over tweezed your eyebrows, I would suggest you let them grow out a bit so that you have more to work with in reshaping them.


Now you don't need to draw lines on your face to figure these next steps.

Just have a brow brush or a pencil handy, this will serve as a straight ruler to roughly see where you need to do some shaping.

There is many tricks top shaping eyebrows if you have either close-set eyes, wide-set eyes, a tall forehead, etc... but this tutorial will cover the basic on tweezing your brows.


Basic Guidelines to Tweezing Eyebrows.

Following the picture guideline above, you can properly analyze how to tweeze those fuzzy's into some real beauties.

(A) Align a long handle brush or pencil with the side of your nose and the inside corner of your eye. This is where your brow should begin.

(B) Align your brush with the outside rim of your iris (the colored part of your eye). This is where the arch should be.


(C) Align brush with the edge of your nostril and the outside corner of the eye. This is where the brow should end.


(D) Align your brush with the beginning and the end of both brows. The brow should begin and end on the same level.


The brow should be one thickness from beginning to end, tapering slightly at the end.


Eyebrow shape is one of the most important parts to beauty. Your eyebrow shape depends on your facial features. It can help you look younger and "lift" the eye so it appears firmer.


Eyebrows are usually the most neglected part of a person's face and yet they are the most important feature on a person's face. They tell people a lot about you. When they are properly tweezed they help to balance facial features. They draw attention to the eyes like a picture frame for the eyes and they are never noticed.



If they are improperly tweezed they draw attention to themselves. They give the face an unbalanced and can give the face a character from a comic book.
